The Greek island sacred to Apollo, where already in the Bronze Age there was a gold sheet similar to that found at Gualdo Tadino in Umbria. After the Bronze Age, some houses and tombs contained bucchero kantharoi, and a distinctive late sixth-century to early fifth-century BC decorated ivory casket was found on the island.
