Isaacs, Nathaniel
(1808-C.1860)
   South African explorer, of English origin. Born in England, he went to St Helena at the age of 14 to work for his uncle. He later spent several years among the Zulu tribes in Natal, exporing, trading and teaching the Africans basic agricultural techniques. His works include Travels and Adventures in Eastern Africa.
