Kami, Yehuda
(1884-1949)
   Hebrew poet of Russian origin. He was born in Pinsk. After settling in Palestine, he served on the editorial board of the daily Ha-Aretz from 1921. In his Shirei Yerushalayim, Jerusalem is presented as the eternal symbol of the people and their destiny. In later writings he lamented the victims of the Holocaust.
