Katz, Jacob
(b. 1904)
   Israeli scholar of Hungarian origin. Born in Hungary, he studied at the University of Frankfurt. With the rise of Nazism, he went to England and then to Israel where he became a professor at the Hebrew University. His work concerns Jewish-Gentile relations, and modern Jewish society and includes Tradition and Crisis, Exclusiveness and Tolerance and Out of the Ghetto.
