Saint-Leon, Arthur
(1815-70)
   French dancer and choreographer. Born in Paris, he made his debut at the age of 14. From 1843 he began to choreograph for the ballerina Fanny Cerrito whom he later married. From 1859 he worked at the St Petersburg Imperial Theatre. Later he returned to Paris and was choreog-rapher and ballet-master for the Paris Opera.
