Bamberger, Fritz
(1902-84)
   German philosopher. He was born in Frankfurt am Main. He was professor of philosophy at the College of Jewish Studies in Chicago from 1937 to 1942, then until 1961 was professor of intellectual history at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York. His writings include studies of Moses Mendelssohn and Benedict Spinoza.
