superpriority claim, Also known as superpriority.
Special priority status granted by the court to a claim arising after the filing of the bankruptcy petition, allowing it to be paid ahead of all other prepetition and postpetition claims, including administrative claims and priority claims. This claim may be another administrative claim (such as a claim by the trustee to recover the reasonable and necessary expenses of preserving collateral) or, in the case of claims of lenders providing DIP financing, a secured claim.
