Streptococcaceae
Strep·to·coc·ca·ceae (strep″to-kok-aґse-e) a family of gram-positive, facultatively anaerobic cocci of the order Lactobacillales; organisms are usually nonmotile and occur in pairs, chains, or tetrads. It includes the genera Lactococcus and Streptococcus.
