lu·te·o·ma (loo″te-oґmə) [lute- + -oma] 1. a granulosa-theca cell tumor in which there has been luteinization of the cells. Called also luteinized granulosa-theca cell tumor. 2. nodular hyperplasia of ovarian lutein cells sometimes occurring in the last trimester of pregnancy; it may be unilateral or bilateral. Called also l. of pregnancy or pregnancy l.
