This new verb originates from the sexual harassment accusations aimed at Clarence Thomas during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings. This is similar to the more general verb to Bork: to attack a person's character in a particularly vicious manner; from the brutal treatment aimed at Robert Bork during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings.
