Silver
   A precious metal not widely available in Egypt in its purest form, thus it had to be imported. It is attested beginning in the Old Kingdomin the royal burial of QueenHetepheresof Dynasty 4and in the Middle Kingdom in the Tod treasure. It was used in the funerary equipment of the royal burials at Tanisof Dynasty 21and Dynasty 22. According to Egyptian myth, the bones of the gods were made of silver.
